July 8, 2024 - Alexandria, VA - The American Gear Manufacturers Association Foundation (AGMA Foundation) Scholarship Program received 25 applications for 2024, a 300% increase from 2023. Twenty-four applications came from undergraduates pursuing degrees in computer science, economics, mechanical, electrical, aerospace, and mechatronics engineering, and one application from a student pursuing a PhD in mechanical engineering.

May 10, 2024 – Alexandria, VA - The American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA) was presented with the Trade Show Executive’s Fastest 50 Grand Award in the “Fastest-Growing Show by Percentage Growth in Total Attendance in 2023” category on May 9 at the Fastest 50 Awards & Summit in Las Vegas, Nevada.

March 18, 2024, Alexandria, VA — The American Gear Manufacturers Association (AGMA) honored three members at the 2024 AGMA/ABMA Annual Meeting in Napa, CA last week. Two individuals received the Lifetime Achievement Award, and one received the Hall of Fame Award.

February 7, 2024 - Alexandria, VA - The American Gear Manufacturer’s Association (AGMA) Robotics and Automation Emerging Technology committee has published a new white paper, Gear Backlash in Robotic Applications: The search for flexibility, performance, and economical systems. This white paper was released recently in tandem with a panel discussion webinar led by experts who contributed to the white paper.
