Rockford, IL – 6/9/2023 – Bourn & Koch, a leading provider of American made machine tools, proudly announces the promotion of Anthony Riportella to the position of Inside Sales Manager. In his new role, Riportella will oversee the inside sales team and support the company's numerous American made machine tool brands, including Bullard, Blanchard, DeVlieg, and Fellows machine tools.

Dubuque, IA, June 7, 2023 – The Adams Company is pleased to announce it has acquired the operations of Atlas Gear Company and Atlas Global, LLC, both located in Madison Heights, Michigan. Atlas Gear Company is a domestic manufacturer of custom gears and shafts, serving various industries including original equipment manufacturers, automotive, construction and oil recovery. Atlas Global, LLC is an importer of various raw materials and finished manufactured products, primarily gears and shafts for high volume quantities.

Bourn & Koch, Inc. of Rockford, IL, is pleased to report that Ross Wegryn-Jones has recently joined the company as our National Sales Manager. Ross will be responsible for the sales of gear manufacturing machines, precision grinding machines and specialty machine tools for unique manufacturing applications. This includes Bourn & Koch horizontal gear hobbers; Fellows gear shapers; Blanchard rotary surface grinders, and Bourn & Koch’s new MT3 vertical grinding machine.

As part of a management reorganization, AFC-Holcroft has announced Tracy Dougherty and Ronald Waligora will share leadership responsibility as dual Chief Operating Officers. Dougherty, formerly Vice President of Sales, has been named Chief Operating Officer in charge of Sales, Applications, Marketing and Aftermarket Sales while Waligora, formerly Senior Engineering Manager, has been named Chief Operating Officer for Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing and Field Services. Both have spent many years working for the company, and both are active in AFC-Holcroft’s professional membership organizations such as the Metal Treating Institute and ASM International.

April 25, 2023 After 32 years as president of GMTA (German Machine Tools of America), formerly American Wera, Walter Friedrich is stepping down, having appointed Michael Rose to be his successor as the new president and CEO at GMTA.

March 18, 2023 William Disler, President and CEO at AFC-Holcroft, has announced that he is stepping down from the company, effective March 30, 2023.
